Refund Policy
This policy explains how Legati handles refunds for website purchases, in-app purchases, storage add-ons, and USB delivery orders. If you need help with a billing issue, visit legati.co/help.
1. Purchases made on the Legati website
Website purchases processed directly by Legati are reviewed under the rules below. Refund requests should be made within 14 days of the original charge unless a shorter period is stated for a specific product type below.
2. Monthly and yearly subscriptions
- You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
- Charges already processed are generally non-refundable once the subscription term has started and access to the paid service has been provided.
- Legati may still approve refunds for duplicate charges, accidental double billing, technical billing errors, or clear service failures.
- If a refund is approved, access to the refunded subscription may be reduced or removed.
3. Lifetime plans
- Lifetime plan refunds should be requested within 14 days of purchase.
- Requests made after substantial use of the paid service may be denied.
- If a lifetime plan refund is approved, any refunded lifetime entitlement and associated paid access may be removed.
4. Storage add-ons
- Storage add-on refunds should be requested within 14 days of purchase.
- If the added storage has already been materially used, the refund request may be denied.
- If a refund is approved, Legati may reduce the related storage entitlement.
5. USB delivery orders
USB delivery includes physical fulfillment and a separate encrypted archive workflow, so it follows stricter refund rules.
- A USB order may be canceled and refunded before the customer submits the final Complete & Ship USB confirmation.
- Once the customer submits that final confirmation, Legati treats the order as approved for fulfillment.
- After that approval point, no refund is available once any of the following has started: bundle generation, encryption-key dispatch, fulfillment handling, label purchase or label creation, shipment preparation, or shipment.
- Once a USB order has advanced into fulfillment, any related physical-product, handling, and fulfillment fees are non-refundable.
In the current Legati workflow, this approval happens when the customer submits the USB completion form with shipping details and the required fulfillment acknowledgements. That action finalizes the order and starts the fulfillment workflow.
6. App Store and Google Play purchases
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to the refund rules of those platforms. Legati does not directly issue refunds for charges processed by Apple or Google unless the platform and applicable law allow us to do so through their systems.
7. Duplicate charges, fraud, and technical billing errors
If you were charged more than once for the same transaction, charged after a technical error, or believe a charge was unauthorized, contact us promptly. Legitimate duplicate or unauthorized charges will be investigated and, where appropriate, refunded.
8. How to request a refund
- Use the Help form from the account email address.
- Include your full name, account email address, order details, and the reason for the request.
- If your request concerns a USB order, include the USB order number if available.
