Optional Secure Access Note
The secure access note is one encrypted place for quick account access details you may want delegates to have later.
Leave it blank if you do not want Legati to store usernames, passwords, phone PINs, email access, brokerage, crypto, NFT, or device details.
The note is encrypted when saved. It is also moved into the vault when you log out, and automatically after 48 hours without changes.
If the note has been vaulted, use the restore button in the dashboard notes section to pull the latest vaulted copy back into the editable note.
Import Your Passwords
Switching from another password manager? Follow these four steps to securely move your data to Legati.
Open your password manager (1Password, LastPass, Bitwarden, Dashlane, or similar) and look for an Export option in Settings or Tools. Choose CSV format and enter your master password to confirm. Save the file to your computer.
Go to your Legati Dashboard and upload the exported CSV file. It will be encrypted automatically with AES-256 encryption.
Open your Notepad in Legati and note your old password manager's master password. It's encrypted and stored securely in your vault.
Delete the CSV file from your computer immediately. Empty your trash or recycle bin to make sure the unencrypted file is completely gone from your device.
Security Note: When exporting your vault, handle the exported file securely. Never share it with anyone. After uploading to your Legati vault, delete the export from your device and make sure it is not in your deleted items or trash.
